Salaries range from 29,985 for Core Hours Operators, to 37,812 for Shift Operators both including shift allowance + competitive benefits package including pension, shares scheme and bonus!

Current roles available
Currently, we have opportunities available across 3 of our industry leading sites – Blackgrange, Cambus and Menstrie. The roles and responsibilities vary and showcase the variety of development opportunities that an Operator role at Diageo can provide.
Overall, an Operator within one of our dedicated teams will play a pivotal role in the whisky supply process and will oversee and control the safe movement of spirit within an established set of process procedures.
Each of our sites are responsible for a different aspect of the supply process. The main responsibilities of each process have been highlighted below:
Each of our roles require some element of cask handling. As a result, you would ideally be a safety conscious individual, who leads by example and contributes to the overall safe working conditions that we promote on site.
Overall, Health and safety compliance is key, as the forefront of production you would be relied upon to ensure this is supervised alongside other key performance indicators and targets including production quality and HMRC compliance.
Working Hours
We have a variety of working hours available, including:
Core hours – Monday – Friday (07.30 – 16.00)
3 Shift Rotation – First week of Nightshift (Sunday to Thursday 10pm – 6am), Second week of Backshift (Monday – Friday 2pm – 10pm), and third week of Dayshift (6am – 2pm).
What You’ll Bring
All of these roles require no previous manufacturing experience; therefore, we welcome applications of all backgrounds and experience levels. Proven experience of working well within a team, as well as the ability to rely on your own initiative to be able to make effective decisions are excellent qualities to bring to these roles. Ideally, you will thrive in situations where you can find positive solutions to problems on site.
