ACCOUNTANT

£40,000 – £50,000 PA – Depending on Experience

Permanent Full Time Role with Hybrid Working

I am currently working with a professional services firm with multiple locations in Europe, Middle East and North Africa. Due to rapid growth, they are looking for a motivated and dynamic accounting professional join their Finance and Operation Team. You must be detailed oriented, organised and have solid knowledge of accounting principles, QuickBooks (or similar accounting software), along with excellent communication skills. Responsibilities

• Month-end and year-end closing
• Maintain accounting and financial records.
• Cash management (AR, AP, cash forecasting ).
• Payroll (including HMRC NIC/PAYEE)
• Monthly management reports (balance sheet, P&L, Cash flow)
• Coordinate year-end audited financial filing and reports with outside auditors.
• Prepare and file VAT and other tax reports in multiple locations.
• Oversee accounts receivables and coordinate collection activities with operations.
• Coordinate invoices with payment terms for each project
• Respond to queries from Clients/Suppliers in a timely manner.
• Prepare and issue intercompany invoices track inter-company balances.
• Reconcile payments across different business units.
• Coordinate implementation of policies, procedures and controls
• Accurately record all invoices and credit notes

To Succeed, you MUST have:

• Degree in Accounting from a reputable university
• 3-6 Year experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and QuickBooks (or similar accounting software)
• Good command of Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication skills (emails, letters etc)
• Qualifications (ACCA, CPA, CMA, etc) not necessary but would be considered a plus.
