Assembly Operative

Are you a money motivated candidate who wants to secure a permanent position in the future? Our client offers every temporary worker the opportunity to secure permanent work after completion of a successful 12-week temporary working trial. Once going to a permanent you will have the opportunity to earn overtime giving you potential to earn up to £43,000 including overtime payments and a wealth of benefits including 30 days holiday including bank holidays, Pension, Private Healthcare, Company Sick Pay and christmas shutdown.

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Outskirts of Newmarket, Suffolk

Hours: Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm (you can have half an hour lunch and take the other half as overtime)

Hourly Rate: £11.00 – £13.00 per hour dependant on background and experience

PPE: Safety boots will be provided by our client

Duties:

• Assembly of various mechanical and electrical components for machine parts
• Following technical drawings and schematics
• Working to build deadlines and production schedules
• Inspecting assembled products for any faults or defects
• Loading products into packing line for dispatch
• Reporting incidents, faulty operations, or product imperfections on the assembly line
• Use of hand tools for the build of systems

Skills and Experience Required:

• Previous assembly, electro-mechanical or mechanical assembly experience
• Understanding of production machinery assembly / production procedures
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment to KPI’s
• Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy pieces of equipment, as well as stand for hours at a time
