A leading manufacturer of plastic products are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join the team and support in the maintenance of all ancillary equipment and conveyors in the Injection Moulding and Regrind departments.

£38,000-42,000, Monday to Friday, rotating weekly between and .

Reporting to the Production Manager, your duties as Maintenance Engineer will include –

• Carrying out safety audits on all equipment as required.
• Troubleshooting machine malfunctions.
• Maintaining all ancillary equipment and conveyors in the Injection Moulding and Regrind departments.
• Developing a planned preventative maintenance (PPM) plan and timely completion of work carried out.
• Monitoring equipment performance and maintain detailed maintenance records for each machine.
• Support with general site maintenance and oversee site contractors working in the Injection Moulding department.

To be successful in the role of Maintenance Engineer, the ideal candidate will –

• Be apprentice served or a professionally qualified engineer / technician
• Have experience with maintenance and repair of injection moulding machinery or other types of plastics processing machinery
• Be experienced in both electrical and mechanical engineering, hydraulics and pneumatics.
