My client is a leading global IT Digital Services company looking to hire an EMEA IT Portfolio Demand Lead to support of a range of programmes and project reporting, demand capture facilitation and progress through to approval, Customer Opportunity governance (bids/tenders, due diligence) and support functions ensuring effective delivery of programmes and projects across the IT departments.

Responsibilities:
Take ownership of the existing project management methodology and improve their efficiency by applying modern best practices and processes.
Develop and maintain the reporting solution to provide an oversight of all projects being managed across the IT function, giving updates on current and future projects that have been submitted for evaluation, as appropriate.
Ensure IT Project Managers are aware of Project Update instructions and routinely check that projects are being updated.
Responsible for implementing the Demand process for Demand capture – Track demands from conception to completion and ensure that initial Demand meetings and follow up meetings are arranged appropriately with the Demand being updated and work notes list/watch list updated as necessary.
Be the contact point for OpCo Sales teams for the Customer Opportunity (ie, bids/tenders, due diligence, etc.) demand queue daily to triage requests, assign them to the appropriate IT teams, collate responses and return materials to requestors.
Advise on quality milestones (quality gates/checks) for successful project delivery.
Key skills and experience:
Working with end-to-end business demand and project delivery management life cycle processes
Managing input from multiple teams responsible for providing input into project management reporting processes
Developing and completing reporting packs for management forums of senior company stakeholders
Understanding of resource management practices within a portfolio management life cycle
Working in end-to-end IT or business processes and reporting structures
Collaborating with multiple people and teams to complete tasks and management reporting documents
Experience of using industry standard business demand and project and management tools, eg ServiceNow
Knowledge of project management methodologies and disciplines eg Agile, Waterfall, True Cloud Method
