Looking for a new challenge in the FMCG sector? Well then, I have a rather good opportunity for a freelance Senior Product Designer for a well-known global FMCG company.

Title: Freelance Senior Product Designer

Start: Monday 26th June

Length: 5 months with a view to extension

Day rate: £500 a day

IR35: Inside IR35

Remote: Hybrid role requiring office collaboration 2 days a week at their fantastic studio next to St Paul’s, central London

Brief:

As a Senior Product Designer, you can make your own powerful contribution to our social responsibility innovation programme. Bringing focus on delivering the right outcomes for their users, you’ll be part of the Design delivery team within their Studios. This is a high-profile, high-impact role

Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into effective design solutions

* Create visual concepts, high-fidelity mock-ups, and prototypes using Figma, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience

* Develop a variety of design alternatives and pitch insight driven concepts to product owner

* Work collaboratively with developers to ensure designs are implemented correctly and meet UI specifications and behaviour

* Develop design systems and maintain their structure, organization, and updates, ensuring consistency across all digital products

Requirements:

* Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Zeplin, and prototyping in Framer (knowledge of React an added bonus)

* Experience creating and maintaining design systems

* Day-to-day workload:

* Experience with mobile-focused design and responsive design principles

* Familiarity with user research and usability testing methodologies

* Maintain design consistency and scalability through design system development and management

* Must be located in London and eligible to work in the UK
