Finance Director / CFO – Private-owned hotel brand

Location: Central London Office – Hybrid working

Salary: £120,000 base salary, negotiable bonus, company shares and excellent maternity / parental leave

Report: Directly the CEO

Manage: A team of 8

We are currently working with a midsized hospitality and hotel business who are looking to scale sizably through a series of acquisitions and builds.

This well-funded business is agile and well positions for growth and is hoping to bring on board a passionate, hands-on and ambitious FD or CFO to work closely with the CEO.

His is a long-term opportunity with lots of personal growth potential and would suit someone looking to take their first big number-one role. This business provides the opportunity to lead autonomously while being supported by a great, experienced team.

The role:

Lead finance team and oversee finance reporting at a monthly and yearly level
Lead commercial finance and financial planning.
Set agendas for the team’s projects and goals
Collaborate with the CEO to derive and execute a short and long-term growth plan
Drive investment relationships as well as all other external stakeholder relationships
Lead acquisition process and company valuations

The Ideal Candidate:

Experience of work closing with investors, pitching new growth plans and oversea acquisition deals or new investment
A strong understanding of the process of M&A and company appraisals
Strong leadership experience
Exposure to the hospitality or hotel sector
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ambitious while happy to be hands-on
Meticulous attention to detail
Strong experience and skills using Excel and Zero
Passionate and dedicated with a collaborative leadership style
