Customer Support Representative – £25,000 – £27,000 per annum Your new companyOur client a leading automotive company, based in Reading, is seeking a Customer Support Representative to join their dynamic team. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with three days in the office and the remaining days working remotely. As a vital member of their customer support team, you will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and building strong relationships with their valued clients.Your new role

• Act as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, providing prompt and professional responses via phone and email.
• Assist customers with product inquiries, order placements, and after-sales support, ensuring a positive and seamless experience.
• Identify and resolve customer issues, escalating complex cases to the appropriate teams when necessary.
• Collaborate closely with other departments, including sales, logistics, and technical support, to resolve customer queries and deliver solutions.
• Stay up to date with product knowledge, industry trends, and company policies to provide accurate and relevant information to customers.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Previous experience in a customer support or customer service role is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively articulate information and provide clear instructions.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and find solutions.
• Empathy and patience when dealing with customer inquiries or complaints.
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with CRM systems and MS Office.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Flexibility and adaptability to handle a variety of tasks and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge or interest in the automotive industry is advantageous but not essential.
