Customer Support Representative – £25,000 – £27,000 per annum Your new companyOur client a leading automotive company, based in Reading, is seeking a Customer Support Representative to join their dynamic team. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with three days in the office and the remaining days working remotely. As a vital member of their customer support team, you will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and building strong relationships with their valued clients.Your new role
Act as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, providing prompt and professional responses via phone and email.
Assist customers with product inquiries, order placements, and after-sales support, ensuring a positive and seamless experience.
Identify and resolve customer issues, escalating complex cases to the appropriate teams when necessary.
Collaborate closely with other departments, including sales, logistics, and technical support, to resolve customer queries and deliver solutions.
Stay up to date with product knowledge, industry trends, and company policies to provide accurate and relevant information to customers.
What you’ll need to succeed
Previous experience in a customer support or customer service role is preferred.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively articulate information and provide clear instructions.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and find solutions.
Empathy and patience when dealing with customer inquiries or complaints.
Proficient computer skills, including experience with CRM systems and MS Office.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Flexibility and adaptability to handle a variety of tasks and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge or interest in the automotive industry is advantageous but not essential.
