Network Architect

New contract demand for a Network Architect to work with one of our largest UK based clients on an initial 6 month contract with hybrid working. This will mean you either work 2 days per week in office in Edinburgh or London. In terms of the most important expertise required, the very first thing discussed was creating designs from scratch. Beyond that, they are also seeking expertise around owning designs from end to end, specifically ownership of individual artefacts (High Level Designs and Low Level Designs). To build on this, experience liaising with multiple technical stakeholders and establishing credibility would be a huge bonus.

Top Skills;

• 10+ years of networking experience, inclusive of engineering and architecture
• Experience in delivering end-to-end design and implementations within enterprise level environments
• Experience within Software defined Networking (SDN) such as the likes of SD-WAN, Cisco ACI or VMware NSX
• Ability to work on-site 2 x days per week in either Edinburgh or London

This is an initial 6 month contract which will extend deep into 2024. The role itself will be inside IR35 with a rate of pay between £550 – £600 per day
