We are currently seeking SEN Primary and Secondary Supply Teachers to work on a temporary and flexible basis across Cheltenham and Gloucester. As an SEN Supply Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of educational settings, including mainstream schools, special schools, and alternative provisions. You will support students with a range of special educational needs, ensuring that their learning and development are nurtured in a positive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to the specific needs of students with SEN.
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the social and emotional well-being of students.
• Adapt teaching strategies and resources to accommodate individual learning styles and abilities.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and external agencies to develop personalized learning plans and monitor student progress.
• Maintain accurate records of student achievement, behavior, and attendance.
• Implement effective behavior management strategies to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching in primary or secondary settings.
• Experience working with students with special educational needs, such as autism, dyslexia, ADHD, or physical disabilities.
• Excellent knowledge of SEN teaching strategies and a strong understanding of the UK curriculum.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents/carers.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in different educational settings.
