This role will allow you to use your experiences and empathy to support other people and their families receiving mental health services. What you will be doing

Working 7.5 hours a month, you will be an active member of the team, working alongside service users as a peer support worker within the acute inpatient setting. You will have the service user voice at the heart of your role and support individuals in service user engagement across

It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. But it is hugely rewarding to see people improve; being able to do something today that they couldn’t do last week because of you.
