Our public sector client requires the expertise of a Assurance Officer to join their team.
Experience:
Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary environment
Experience working in the field of administrative management
Proven expertise in project management, including planning, organising & coordinating projects/programmes.
Knowledge of business planning and experience of strategic workforce planning and resourcing
Considerable experience using operating policies and procedures, including their creation, development and review.
Experience of communicating and influencing across teams and of giving presentations at local levels
Ability to work with minimal supervision and to meet deadlines
Flexible approach to learning and problem solving
Commitment to personal and professional development
Specific skills, knowledge, and training:
Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in written form, with an ability to work under pressure
Understanding of legal frameworks such as Equality and Diversity, Data Protection and Information/Cyber Security
Ability to build effective working relationships with staff at all levels.
Supervisory role including coaching and/or mentoring of team members
Proven expertise in using Microsoft 365, in particular Teams, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
