Job title: Site Reliability Engineer

Salary: 75K+benefit

My client currently is looking for an application Support Engineer for a large IT service, consulting, and business solution company.

Responsibilities:

• Triage production support issues. You will effectively monitor a wide range of systems, triage & trouble-shoot bugs on Apple Pay
• Gain valuable insight into the rapidly expanding world of Apple Pay, and server operations generally
• Gain experience in partner management, interacting with many of our partners, such as Visa, MasterCard, and American Express
• Obtain insight into our integration work with new partners in supporting new projects
• Learn a top-tier level of understanding and support of Apple Pay and its server infrastructure
• Responsible for fixing issues, responding to incidents, and usually taking on-call responsibilities

Requirement

• Expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Production support and operational expertise.
• Knowledge of incident management, change management, and problem solving.
• Working understanding on Scaling, Capacity Planning and Disaster Recovery.
• Strong emphasis on SRE as an engineering function with a focus on architecture, design & automation.
• Strong background in monitoring and logging of large-scale platforms ie Nagios, Prometheus, Splunk, Icinga etc.
• Familiarity with configuration and deployment management (Scripting, Visualisation, AWS, Unix, Java, Databases, Kubernetes, Docker etc)
