An exclusive opportunity has become available for a qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) Production Finance Manager to join one of the world’s leading media & entertainment companies.
This will be a key business partnering role for all production and development leads based across the UK, and global territories, as well as becoming a key point of contact for the Commercial Finance team. Working in the London office, the role will work on a hybrid / remote working model and play a pivotal role in the companies drive forward to the top of the industry.
The responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Reviewing and where necessary challenging the budgets for all development and productions. Advising on appropriateness of costs budgets
Finance contact point for co-production partners and studios.
Key divisional point of contact for Production Accounting team
Support production and development teams
Be responsible for ensuring the accounting and reporting of development and production spends
Maintain rolling cash forecasting for productions
Track key milestones for compliance, ensure tax credit applications (pre-approval and final) are submitted in a timely and accurate manner.
Be the key point of contact for Commercial Finance team – for month end reconciliation of all development and production spend, annual budget, quarterly forecast cash flows, periodic KPI analysis as requested and delivery status updates.
Partner Production leads to manage costs within budget
Establish and manage third-party support relationships.
The suitable candidate will be:
Fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
Have experience of working in multi-territory Production Accounting and Finance team.
Demonstrate experience of creating, managing and challenging cost reports and budgets across multiple projects.
Working knowledge of production budget within animation, standard industry commercial terms and parameters.
Familiarity and competence with MS Office suite of products
excel skills (minimum vlookup/xlookup/sumif) essential. SAP experience an advantage.
