Our client is a leading specialist business affiliated with the haulage industry serving the Northern Home Counties, and the South and East Midlands.

This company have over 150 customers, and an anticipated turnover of £16m this year with a positive future business plan for continued growth.
They are currently recruiting for a new hands-on, commercially focused Management Accountant/Finance Manager.
The Role
The role will support the CEO and manage a team of two. You will be involved in both the day-to-day finances of the business as well as offering commercial support and more strategic guidance where necessary.
This role is part-time and will require circa 3 days (25 hours) /week and availability to respond to business needs 5 days/week (Monday to Friday). The hours worked can be flexible and expected tasks include:
You will possess excellent strategic and operational planning skills having worked at senior management level.
A hands-on knowledge of SAGE and experience in the temporary recruitment and/or road haulage sectors will be an advantage.
As our ideal candidate you will be qualified CIMA /ACCA, (or qualified by experience at this equivalent level) with extensive experience of financial planning, budgeting, management, and statutory accounts production as well as a track record of experience in the commercial sector.
The business is extremely flexible as to how your hours are worked, which can be full days or spread across the week with an element of office and home working if preferred.
A base salary of £55k – £60k (DoE, FTE) is on offer together with a Performance Bonus of £5k – £10k per annum, both paid pro rata to hours worked, (therefore, actual earnings are estimated to be between £30k and £40k per annum).
