Zest is working with a lovely primary school in the Hodge Hill area who are looking for a learning mentor to work on a full-time basis. The role is to start in September 2023 and will continue for the duration of the academic year. The pay for this role will range from £75 to £98 depending on references and experience. The role will be working in KS1 working with children on a 1-1 basis, in small groups and interventions supporting with the social and emotional needs of the pupils along with supporting them with general class. The role will involve having excellent communicate skills as you will be working alongside members in the pastoral team to ensure everything runs smoothly. You will also be required to work well independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team. You must also be able to adapt quickly and show strong commitment to meeting the needs of children. All applicants must be NVQ level 2 qualified (or above) in a relevant subject or have a minimum of 3 months experience within the last 5 years. Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
