Salary: £39,089 – £45,155 P.A (Salary dependent on previous experience)

Working within a police custody is a fast-paced autonomous role. Whilst the police detain individuals for up to 24 hours, in that time you will be responsible for the care of detainees and their needs which can vary from an acute medical episode, dealing with a mental health crisis, assessment and safeguarding of Children and young people, drug and alcohol management through minor injury or illness care, and health promotion and advice.
Each day is different, and your skillset will be crucial at helping you navigate the considerations needed for both healthcare needs and as part of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act.
