Reed Finance are delighted to be partnering exclusively with the renewable energy department of a global asset manager on the recruitment of their next FP&A Manager within their corporate finance renewables team.

This FP&A Manager role is an extremely exciting opportunity to join a growing and dynamic global team where you will be overseeing existing renewable power investments.

This FP&A Manager role will report into the Director, Finance and the right person will have responsibility for FP&A reporting across several renewable businesses across Europe, valuation models and other ad hoc financial, investment and strategic analyses.

This role is seeking a Big Four or Top 6 trained Accountant with an audit background with at least 3-4 years industry experience as well as experience within either renewable energy, energy (oil & gas), infrastructure or asset management.

This role does have a 5 days a week in the office policy but there is flexibility at quieter times.

Key Responsibility of this FP&A Manager role but not limited to:

• Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) point of contact interacting with finance team members and reviewing monthly FP&A reporting submissions from operating businesses.
• Build relationships with the M&A team to gain a strategic understanding of each portfolio company and how financial results fit into strategy.
• Ensure integrity, accuracy and timeliness of financial information being reported from operating business
• Updating valuation models in conjunction with Asset Management team including fund valuation models, PPE Models and corporate models
• Active involvement in annual business planning and budgeting process and integration of new investments into European platform
• Support financial due diligence on potential acquisitions and dispositions and ad-hoc strategic investment performance analysis
• Coordinate fund flows into and out of operating businesses

Required knowledge, skills & experience:

• 2.1 degree or above undergraduate degree, ideally in Business, Accounting or Finance
• Big Four Qualified Accountant (ACA ideally) with an Audit Background with 3 years plus post qualification experience preferably in industry
• Experience working within renewable energy would be highly desirable but if not energy, oil & gas, infrastructure or asset management would be considered.
• Previous experience within Financial Services and/or Financial Planning and Analysis
• Must have strong analytical skills with solid attention to detail coupled with ability to think critically and see the “big picture”.
• Capable of working in dynamic fast-paced environments and juggling multiple priorities
• Outstanding communication, research and analytical skills and relationship building skills.
• Must be a self-starter & self-motivated individual who is proactive, uses initiatives and has strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent proficiency with MS Excel and experience using MS PowerPoint
• Additional language skills would be an asset
