Our client is a globally recognised provider of state-of-the-art technology within the fuels industry. They looking for a high calibre individual who will serve as the technical face of the Commercial team, providing expertise knowledge and support of their products both internally and externally.

You will have exceptional communication skills with a strong knowledge of Chemistry and will be comfortable explaining and demonstrating products to customer cliental in a professional manor while being able to address any concerns and complaints raised.

Responsibilities

• Present comprehensive knowledge of clients products.
• Explain and illustrate products both with internal departments and external customers whenever required.
• Provide training to both colleagues and customers on the use and troubleshooting of products.
• Perform laboratory tests when necessary both onsite and on location.
• Provide both written and verbal reports providing your findings and suggestions to the Commercial team and customers directly.
• Collate and present results and customer feedback and report internally.
• Travel internationally for customer visits when required – approx. four times per annum.

This business is for you if you possess

• Previous experience in the chemical industry desirably within colour chemistry
• Proven laboratory experience with a high level of competence across general wet chemistry techniques
• Excellent communicational skill gained through experience in a customer centric role.
• Competency handling numerical data.
• Ability to speak a second language is desirable.
• Ability to plan and manage your own time and work independently.

The recruitment process will be two stages, a video call followed by an onsite visit. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary, 25 days of annual leave + bank holidays and eligibility to the company’s profit share scheme once qualified.
