We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our local schools in Lambeth and Southwark as a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA). The HLTA will be responsible for supporting the classroom teacher in a variety of tasks and activities, including lesson planning, delivering small group instruction, and providing support to individual students.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the classroom teacher in planning and delivering lessons
• Lead small group instruction and provide support to individual students as needed
• Help to manage the classroom environment and promote positive behaviour
• Participate in professional development and training opportunities as needed
• Attend meetings and contribute to the planning and evaluation of the school’s curriculum

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field
• Experience working in a classroom setting is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Valid teaching certification is preferred, but not required
