Location: Kidlington, Oxfordshire
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience
Working Hours: Monday to Friday with flexibility around working hours

We are working with a prominent provider of customised vehicles in the entertainment industry. Specialising in the provision of high-quality transportation solutions, our client prides themselves on maintaining an unrivalled fleet, tailored to meet the specific needs of bands and artists. They are now seeking an experienced Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) or Public Service Vehicle (PSV) Mechanic to join their dynamic team in Kidlington.
Role Summary:
As an HGV/PSV Mechanic, you will be an integral part of the team, ensuring that the fleet of vehicles is in top condition at all times. Your key focus will be on conducting thorough maintenance, repair, and inspection of PSV and LCV vehicles to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular inspections, diagnostic tests, and preventative maintenance on PSV and LCV vehicles.
Perform routine servicing, repairs, and replacements on a variety of vehicle systems including engines, brakes, electrical systems, and more.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, environmental, and health and safety standards.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs carried out.
Provide technical advice and guidance to colleagues and liaise with suppliers and manufacturers as required.
Work effectively within a team and maintain strong communication with colleagues.
Skills & Experience:
A recognized qualification in HGV or PSV Maintenance and Repair or equivalent is essential.
Proven experience working as an HGV or PSV Mechanic.
Strong diagnostic skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Knowledge of current industry standards and regulations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
