Academics Ltd is working alongside a popular and friendly Hemel Hempstead secondary school seeking a Physical Education teacher to start in September. This Ofsted rated ‘good’ school is home to engaged pupils who enjoy attending school and a very supportive staff cohort.

The school located in the heart of Hemel Hempstead and has an excellent Physical Education department. The school is ideally seeking a teacher with at least a year of experience however, they will consider a competent ECT with a proven track record. The school is also open to welcoming teachers from overseas, but you must have QTS or QTLS.

The Physical Education Teacher role:

• Teaching Physical Education up to KS4 as a minimum
• Full teaching responsibilities including planning, delivery, and assessment.
• Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of individual learners.
• Working as part of the Physical Education faculty supporting each other with planning and assessment

Required Skills and Qualifications for the Teacher Role:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS
• Experience teaching the UK Physical Education Curriculum
• A strong understanding of the national curriculum
• Excellent classroom management skills
• The ability to inspire and motivate pupils.
