My client is looking to recruit a Paraplanner to join their growing Wealth Management practice. You will be responsible for providing technical and research support to the Adviser and also that support includes preparing meeting materials, assembling financial reports, situation modelling and ensuring all actions are completed on the system.
Main Duties
Paraplanning:
o Conducting full research.
o Risk rating of new and existing funds/review of performance.
o Preparing suitability reports
o Reviewing reports.
o Fund switch reports and Unit Trust to ISA reports when required.
o Ensuring that all files are fully compliant and finished.
o Dealing/replying to all remedials within prompt timescales.
Work with Salesforce; inputting facts finds/IRPs and Expenditure Questionnaires, creating Service Case/Opportunity for all new business/review cases, putting new business onto the system, maintaining status/updating plans and general housekeeping for all new business.
Ensure all new business applications are submitted within timescales and are updated on the New Business Register and Funds Under Management spreadsheet. Amend Service Case/ Opportunity for all new business and upload relevant Binders.
Managing client queries, working alongside the Partner Support Service team to ensure client interaction is seamless.
Chase pipeline post submission and handle queries where necessary.
Assisting in business development projects as required.
Attending client meetings where required.
Provide support to the Adviser to assist in driving the business forward.
Respond to ad hoc queries from existing and potential clients.
Review and amend portfolios on FE Analytics.
Create and maintain cashflow analysis with clients.
Training any new members of staff within the paraplanning team to the desired standard.
Knowledge and Experience Required
Familiarity with basic software – Windows, Microsoft Office etc.
Experience in customer service including direct customer contact and query resolution.
Degree in business or equivalent Financial Services experience.
Experience and full understanding of FCA compliance requirements.
Experience in writing complex and detailed reports for cases.
Ability to assess information, make comparisons and identify critical features.
Ability to analyse financial issues and offer sound, reliable and professional advice.
