Head of IT Infrastructure

£600 per day (inside IR35) – Initial 3 month contract – 2 days per week from Plymouth office

Our Plymouth based client are looking for immediately available Head of IT Infrastructure interim to join on an initial 3 month contract. They are looking for the interim Head of IT Infrastructure to work on site for 2 days per week, the rest remotely.

We are looking for an IT Infrastructure leader to manage the team and infrastructure services across the customer base, setting the strategy and technology roadmap.

Remote interviews can take place this week ahead of an immediate start.

Key responsibilities and experience required for the Head of IT Infrastructure

• Multiple years’ experience leading IT Infrastructure functions, ideally of 10-25 staff with an background motivating infrastructure engineers
• Excellent leadership skills and a collaborative communication style
• Strong infrastructure technology knowledge level, although admittedly not necessarily as a hands on techy
• Driving forward a service-oriented culture
• Strong vendor management and partner relation skills
• Previous experience leading IT infrastructure functions within the public sector
