We have a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Electrician to join our Severn Bridges account in Bristol, BS35 4BT. This is an onsite role.
The salary for this role is between £26000 and £32000, depending on your skillset, qualifications and experience.
The Severn Bridges account is working in partnership with National Highways on the Specialist Bridges Inspection & Maintenance contract to inspect and maintain three bridges in Southwest England over a 15-year period.
Our roads and bridges are among the safest in the world and our partnership supports maintenance to high standards across all three bridges and provides the best possible quality of service to road users.
The Electrician plays an important part in maintaining the network, installing all electrical equipment, street light columns, bollards, signs, and feeder pillars.
The standard hours of work are Monday – Friday days, 37.5 hours per week.

You will be responsible for:
We want to hear from you if you have good all round project management knowledge with excellent communication skills, being able to manage stakeholders at all levels. You will be able to work at heights of up to 12 metres. It is essential for you to hold a valid UK driving licence for this role.
Ideally you will have experience in street lighting installations and associate maintenance supported by your manual work including some elements of hand excavation.
In addition to this, it would be desirable if you have relevant electrical technical competencies to help you hit the ground running, although this is not essential as we will provide you with the required development you need to bring you up to speed.
