Our client is seeking a highly skilled Technology Service Lead to join our team in Newcastle. As the Technology Service Lead, you will manage a team of technical experts and ensure the high-quality delivery of technology services to the clients.
Responsibilities:
Lead a team of technical experts, ensuring the delivery of quality technology services to clients.
Work collaboratively with clients to understand their requirements and identify opportunities for service improvements.
Develop service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team and ensure that targets are being met.
Proactively manage and prioritise issues to ensure that service disruptions are minimised.
Develop new service offerings that align with client needs, and review existing services to ensure they align with current best practices.
Act as a point of escalation for newly identified or complex issues, taking ownership of the problems through to resolution.
Build and maintain rapport with both clients and team members, ensuring that positive relationships are maintained at all times.
Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience working in a similar service delivery or IT management role.
Excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage a team of technical experts.
Strong problem-solving skills with a consultative approach to service delivery.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
Experience working with IT service management (ITSM) tools, such as ServiceNow and Jira.
Familiarity with industry-standard ITIL processes and controls, including change management, incident management, and problem management.
Knowledge of public cloud services such as Azure, or Google Cloud is highly desirable.
An ITIL certification, or willingness to obtain one, is desirable.
Knowledge of M365, Intune, EndPoint, SharePoint is highly desirable.

Competitive salary range of £40,000 to £45,000, depending on experience.
