English Teacher Location: Havering, East London Salary: £29000 – £48000 per annum Start Date: September 2023 Contract Type: Permanent Are you a passionate and dedicated English Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to inspire and educate students? As an English Teacher, you will have the opportunity to shape young minds, ignite their love for literature, and help them develop strong communication skills. Responsibilities: Delivering high-quality English lessons to secondary school students, engaging them in a wide range of literary texts, including prose, poetry, and drama. Planning and preparing stimulating and interactive lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students, ensuring their progress and achievement. Assessing and providing constructive feedback on students’ work, supporting their development and encouraging a growth mindset. Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated, confident, and inspired to excel. Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement the English curriculum, sharing best practices and innovative teaching techniques.Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant degree in English or a related field. Proven experience teaching English to secondary school students, with a track record of academic success. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature, language, and communication. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
