Unipart Logistics (UL) has secured a contract to run the new, custom-built Jaguar Land Rover Global Parts Logistics Centre at Appleby Magna in Leicestershire. The operation is housed at Jaguar Land Rover s new Mercia Park campus, one of the largest UK warehouse developments for a single customer. We would like you to join us now! You will assist in the creation of a systemic bin map and assist with the stock transfer of product from existing legacy JLR sites into the new Mercia Campus. You will work with the legacy site s key stakeholders, generating daily, weekly, monthly stock files, to ensure the correct stock is being picked and shipped into Mercia, and will manage any systemic exceptions and work with IT team where required. You will manage any material master changes required in SAP and will create reporting mechanisms relating to the agreed Key Performance Indicators. You will have a responsibility to drive the business to operational excellence by utilising the Unipart Way Principles, tools and techniques, ensuring all agreed SLA & KPI s are consistently achieved, and will strive for continuous improvement; continuously driving to reduce shrinkage by process improvement, and monitoring of results. As part of your key responsibilities you ll: Creation of weekly/monthly packs for Management Dotted Line responsibility to Stock Controllers on site Responsibility to ensure that the Unipart Way principles, systems, tools and techniques are driving cost reduction and quality benefits. Maintain and report on KPIs for the department. Ensure the KPIs are reported on a daily, weekly and monthly basis and escalated as appropriate. Highlight any critical level or serious issues to be reported to Senior Management About You We d love you to have the following skills and experience, but please apply if you think you d be able to perform well in this role!
