Your new company
This is a chance to work for a genuine market leader, our client specialises in cyber security. In particular, they specialise in providing secure information exchange solutions in order to get information into and out of secure networks. After a successful period they are now looking to expand further.

Your new role

• Develop and code software.
• Develop documentation and training material conforming to relevant Company standards and procedures.
• Undertake functional testing and validation of developed code, documentation and training materials
• Investigate customer product use scenarios, reproducing issues and resolving these.
• Contribute to project planning, identifying and advising on technical tasks to be undertaken and the resources required for the project.
• Understand customer requirements and translate into technical requirements.
• Produce designs and specifications to meet customer requirements

What you’ll need to succeed
Our client is looking for a software engineer who is looking to learn and develop in a progressive and supportive environment. In order to succeed, you will need to have had prior experience with the following technical competencies; C++, Linux and it would be further beneficial if you have had prior experience with Python. It is further beneficial to have had prior experience managing both people and projects.

What you’ll get in return
In return, you will receive a flexible hybrid working pattern where you will be expected to be in the office 1-2 days a week. In addition, you will receive a base salary that is in the region of £65k
