Salary £38,000 – £41,000 depending on experience + benefits inc bonus

My client is a prestigious and award winning Wealth Management organisation and they now have a fabulous new opportunity for an experienced Paraplanner to join their team. The purpose of the role is to support the Advisers when informing and advising clients on financial strategies, plans and products, and to organise technical tasks, illustrations, and reports. An excellent career opportunity with full support to achieving Chartered Financial Planner status!

The Role of the Paraplanner

• Accurately prepare personalised suitability reports and letters which are well thought out and meaningful
• Working efficiently to meet target deadlines
• Recommendations to include Pensions (including transfers), Investments (ISAs, Unit Trusts and Bonds including Trust work – Loan Plans/Gift Plans) and Drawdowns
• Ensure all client work and documents (CFR, Illustrations etc) are compliant and supported with relevant paperwork
• Undertake comparative research in preparation of client recommendations
• Ensure all client queries are appropriately investigated and accurate responses given
• Part of the role will include administration support – requesting additional LOA information, Business Submission
• Work as part of a wider team in order to ensure an exceptional client experience and high-quality advice it provided to all our clients

The ideal candidate:

• Attained or working towards the Level 4 CII Diploma (or equivalent)
• Good understanding of financial products and services
• Strong analytical skills, specifically analysing records and providing detailed technical commentary
• Strong organisational skills (e.g. managing an effective and efficient workload and often working on multiple cases at one time)
• Team fit is important to us as we are a small team, we have a positive approach to work and life and are therefore looking for like-minded individuals
• Experience of Analytics, Voyant and Salesforce/Aptus are advantageous
• A good understanding of the administration and support side of Paraplanning, as well as preparing reports and relevant documentation
