As a Technical Security Architect, you will be a key member of our small IT Security team, responsible for the day-to-day operation of our security infrastructure, monitoring security events, and responding effectively. You will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, monitoring, and supporting our IT security systems, with a focus on Microsoft M365 and Azure-related projects, automation projects, and ensuring secure application deployments. This is an exciting opportunity to join us during a period of large-scale transformation and continuous IT security improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement security improvement solutions, providing technical leadership.
• Maintain knowledge of security products and promote their use within the organization.
• Administer security policies for Microsoft 365 and endpoints.
• Participate in incident response and review data privacy impact assessments.
• Build secure IT systems, communicate technical matters to non-technical colleagues, and lead technical teams.
• Ensure information assurance and align with security strategies.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• ITIL qualified.
• Recognized IT or Information Security qualifications desirable.
• Minimum 10 years of IT experience.
• Strong knowledge of security principles, Windows Server, and networking.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure and experience with SaaS applications.
• Awareness of IT Security and Governance best practices.
