Empowering Learning are a market leading education recruitment company. We are working in partnership with a large Secondary Academy in the Chesterfield area, who are seeking an outstanding candidate to support a male KS3 student in his learning.
We are looking to engage with a Behaviour Support Specialist who has experience working with students with ADHD, and behaviours that challenge. Empowering Learning Group are the parent company of Team Teach, and as such Team Teach training can be provided free of charge to the successful applicant.
Please only apply to this role if you have extensive experience (over 2 years) working with children who show behaviours that challenge in a school environment. None experienced applicants will not be considered for this role.
The job
The school is looking for someone who is passionate about inclusion and providing additional support, to provide the very best opportunity for their student.
You will work with the subject specialist teachers who will provide their expertise in supporting you with the subject matter to enable you to deliver engaging learning support.
To provide specialist behaviour management expertise to assist students in maintaining their working focus, completing reports and providing feedback on student progress as appropriate.
The successful candidate will
Have experience?working with children of a Secondary age in a Learning Support environment.
Have the confidence and ability to challenge negative behaviours and re-focus learning engagement.
Have an understanding of SEND and provide a calm and nurturing learning environment.
