We have an exciting opportunity for a flexible and proactive Assistant Finance Business Partner
to join the Finance Department.
Position: Assistant Finance Business Partner (Equine Operations and Resources)
Location: Working primarily from home, flexibility will be required for occasional onsite working, currently estimated to be 2 days per week in Devon.
Hours: Full-time
Salary: £27,390 per annum
Contract: Permanent

The Role
As Assistant Finance Business Partner (Equine Operations and Resources), you will provide support to cost centre managers within the Equine Operations and Resources directorate together with comprehensive analysis of both function’s expenditure and will be responsible for monthly and year end accruals and prepayments. With strong communication, collaborative and interpersonal skills, you will ensure that strong relationships are developed and maintained with operational managers and their teams, improving the impact, and understanding, of financial reporting on charity performance and delivering insight that links financial reports to business strategies.

About You
An AAT qualification (or part qualified CIMA), together with a documented CPD track record and post-qualification experience in a management accounting/finance business partner role, is essential for this role as are experience of a computerised accounting system, an advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications, particularly Excel, and a demonstrable working knowledge of dealing with high volumes of data.
