The role:

My client are looking for an Application Support Engineer to join their team on an initial 10 month contract.

The role will be 3 days per week onsite, and will involve working a 2 shift pattern: 7am-3pm/10am-6pm

This role requires an individual with experience working within Financial Services, in a Front Office capacity

Responsibilities:

• 1st Line Application Support and triage of applications in a Front Office environment
• Correctly logging and processing tickets
• Providing Application Support utilising tools such as SQL, and on technologies such as SWIFT

Key skills required:

• Front Office Application Support experience in a Financial Services environment
• Experience working with SQL
• Flexible to work shifts
• Flexibility to work occasional out of hours/weekend work

Desirable skills:

• SWIFT
• MQ
• Splunk
