I’m pleased to be supporting a successful and close-knit team based in Southampton, who due to succession on projects are looking to recruit an Architect. The practice’s current and past portfolio consists of Retail, Commercial, Leisure, Education and Community projects and are using AutoCAD as their main software.

To succeed in this role, you should have a couple of years post Part 3 experience and be confident leading jobs from the initial stages of inception, right through to the final stages of completion. Relevant sector exposure would be essential to succeed in the position.

My client offers a hybrid arrangement, following successful completion of probationary period.

Skills, Experience & Responsibilities for the role:

• ARB registered.
• At least several years post Part 3 experience.
• Good communication skills both verbally and written.
• Familiar leading projects across all RIBA stages.
• Boast design flare and good technical abilities.
• Able to work to a high standard whilst keeping to strict and crucial deadlines.
• Confident in a client facing role, you will sometimes be responsible for leading meetings.
• Undertake site meetings and write up specifications.
• Driver’s license and ideally, your own vehicle.
• Living locally to Southampton.
