The Finegreen Group A South Central NHS Trust has a new opportunity for an Interim Assistant Director of Finance. The post holder will be an accomplished senior finance professional, reporting into the Director of Finance.
Main role responsibilities
Provide leadership and performance management of the Financial Accounting Team, Treasury Management, Procurement and Charity;
Lead the Annual Accounts Process;
Ensure appropriate accounting rules are followed to ensure that the Trust receives unqualified accounts;
Lead the capital planning process ensuring the smooth running of the Capital Management Group and its 3 subgroups;
Manage the effective delivery of the capital programme to ensure that the capital budget is delivered;
Lead the Treasury Function, ensuring detailed cash flow reports are shared with board and understood and that any risk to liquidity is mitigated;
Manage an effective payroll function and appropriate re-procurement and contract management.
A successful candidate will have
CCAB qualification
Experience leading the year-end accounts for a NHS Trust
Strong technical skills
Willingness to ‘roll the sleeves up’
Good interpersonal and communication skills
