To support the organisation by developing, implementing and supporting cutting edge practice management processes. Specifically this will include:
Work with partners, including the in-house IT provider, to maximise the potential of case management and other IT systems
Work with assessors, partners and the Law Society to ensure that Lexcel, IIP & IAA standards are complied with; ensuring all chargeable time is recorded and appropriately billed
Produce reports of hours for clients
Pay and recover disbursements
Ensure that procurement is managed in line with agreed procedures
Produce reports to facilitate the effective management of the practice
Ensure office practices are followed
Work with Business Support to ensure that the Practice is effectively supported
File management, storage & destruction
Support agile working
Implement and practice disaster recovery & business continuity procedures
Ensure data is appropriately handled
Manage and support the delivery of a number of projects across the Legal Practice
Implement and improve business processes across the Legal Practice
Assist with the evaluation of services, tenders, projects and programmes to ensure appropriate outcomes and cost effectiveness are achieved
Work as part of the Legal Practice Management Team providing a specific, efficient and confidential support to improve efficiency and maximise use of practitioner time across the Practice
Have a thorough knowledge of the work of a legal practice to deal with queries and suggest improvements in line with business processes and procedures
