Responsibilities include:
Employees will work with contractors, volunteers, and other teams from their organisations. Whilst part of a team, you may be working alone in the field, and will be required to carry out duties in a safe manner in accordance with the National Trust’s health, safety and wellbeing procedures. They will be expected to be aware of the safety of others. You will be required to work outdoors in all weathers, so must be prepared to be involved in all aspects of the role (suitable equipment and clothing will be provided). As a frontline representative of the National Trust, you are expected to display our values and behaviours and respond to customer queries in a positive manner. No previous experience or related knowledge is required.

We have lots of different opportunities in conservation and the environment across our special places, regional and central offices and outdoor spaces. These include Assistant Ranger, Ranger, Area Ranger, Lead Ranger and Countryside Manager – and that’s just to name a few.
