Behaviour Support Worker

£70 per day
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is 6 months minimum experience working with extreme challenging behaviour either in a school setting, residential care or a similar capacity. This is a permanent post and will commence after the pupils fully go back to school.
The role
As a Behaviour Support Worker at this school you will be tasked with keeping pupils engaged in their work, working alongside the class teacher to deliever work as well as managing behaviour and responding to incidents.
The school This school is a Special School that caters for pupils accross the Leeds area that have Social, Emotional and Mental health issues.
Requirements
To be considered for the position of a Behaviour Support Worker at this school you will:
Have Experience working with extreme challenging behaviour in a school setting, care setting or in a similar capacity
Have a positive and non-judgemental mindset
Be commited to helping the most vulnerable young people in Leeds to achieve academic success and achievement
Have a DBS on the update service, or be willing to get one.
Be Team Teach Trained, or be willing to attend a two day (free) course provided by Vision for Education
