You’ll be joining a project team tasked with replacing the enterprises practice management systems. You’ll support the definition and delivery of business requirement for the new finance system focusing on master data and design. Your role will be expected to deliver the required design deliverables as well as supporting the functional and business testing cycles, change management/training activities and deployment.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct detailed and thorough analysis of the existing Elite Enterprise system specifically across master data and rates structure and support the functional lead to rationalise and harmonise Support the data migration from the Legacy system into SAP, specifically the complex area of rates, master data and user roles including support of the mapping, ETL processes and post migration validation Support the definition and delivery of all required functional design deliverables across master data and aspects of security Facilitate workshops and meetings to capture and define business requirements Support the prioritisation of business requirements Define detailed design principles to underpin the’ to-be’ design Coordinate and input into ‘as-is’ process mapping of current processes as well as defining the ‘to- be’ Work with vendors to develop robust functional documentation/specification Produce high quality documentation and process maps Build and nurture relationships with SME’s, process owners and other programme and firm key stakeholders Ensure design outputs correlate back to the core objectives of the programme Work across the international offices to ensure a collaborative and representative design is compiled Ensure across the programme the designs are clear and understood, support the central design knowledge pool for supporting the programme throughout the delivery cycles eg Data design, build and test, change management, training and post go live support Ensure that any necessary business information is requested and provided in advance of any deadline set Escalate issues which cannot be resolved by the stream to the Programme Manager
The Business Analyst must have strong organisational and communication skills. The individual appointed must also be capable of understanding the wider objectives of the programme, be able to influence others, and be able to develop and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders, with team colleagues and with service providers involved in the management and operation of the programme and have the experience to mentor and support team members.
The role holder will have a background in working on large-scale Finance Transformation Programmes ideally with a wealth of experience in the Legal or professional services industry analysing and Master data and rates within a Finance transformation programme.
