C++ Software Engineer – Yocto/Embedded Linux

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced C++ Application Engineer to join the team based in Birmingham, UK.

• C++ Application Engineer to accelerate production of the next generation of AC and DC secure, bi-directional, V2X capable vehicle chargers.

• The successful candidate will be a team player with 5+ years of professional experience writing testable, peer-reviewed C++ code to quality standards such as AutoSAR.

• Experience working with Yocto, Embedded Linux, TLS network communications, including OpenSSL will be required.

• Any experience with OpTEE, ARM TrustZone and Trusted Boot will be beneficial.

• Experience with merging, building and testing your code in CI/CD pipelines such as Gitlab or Jenkins will be useful in ensuring your solutions are fully traceable, repeatable quality-assured and deployable.

• Experience with EV charging protocols such as OCPP, DINSPEC and/or ISO15118 will be an advantage but can also be learned on the job.
