About the department
Our National Capital Allowances Team is high performing and growing fast. We work with a range of companies, from start-ups through to multinationals, assisting with the preparation of Capital Allowances claims and providing significant tax cash flow benefits for our clients. We work with companies, partnerships and individuals across all sectors, including real estate investment, renewables, leisure and hospitality, retail, healthcare and manufacturing. Because of significant client wins, we are looking to enhance our team further with the addition of a Capital Allowances Tax Manager who is looking for an environment where they will have the opportunity to accelerate their knowledge, skills and development in a creative, entrepreneurial and supportive team, working with lots of fantastic clients along the way.You will work in a large and growing Capital Allowances (CA) tax team at RSM. The role description is set out below and involves working directly with our clients’ finance and property teams whilst also experiencing a role in a global professional services firm. A critical part of the role is the effective management of a portfolio of clients and engagements, combined with managing a team to support you with the successful delivery of our services to clients.
About the ideal candidateOur new colleague will have a high level of tax technical knowledge of the UK’s Capital Allowances regime with experience of preparing and submitting claims in a range of sectors. Knowledge of making land remediation relief claims is desirable but not essential. You will have knowledge of different claim methodologies, including any sector specific challenges.
