We have an exciting opportunity for a Cardiac Physiologist to join our Cardiology department located at our Outpatient & Consulting Rooms in Central London, W1G 6HL, with a salary range on offer of £35,774- £47,552, pro rata. We have approx. 1300 employees across 8 sites, where we cover a broad range of specialisms, including complex medical and surgical procedures and a comprehensive range of cancer and outpatient services.Job ProfileAs a Cardiac Physiologist you will perform a range of Cardiology and Lung Plethysmography tests and to lead Exercise TreadmillJob Type: This is a full-time, 8 month fixed term contract, working 37.5 hours per week. The shift pattern is variable and will be worked within the hours of 8am-7pm Monday to FridayShifts: We operate a mixed shift pattern between the hours of 8am – 7pm.Benefits package: Contributory pension scheme (total annual contribution up to 20%). Key DutiesUndertake a range of non-invasive Cardio and Respiratory investigations as detailed below, and to maintain a high standard of technical skill, efficiency and patient care in accordance with departmental protocols and procedures. The job holder should demonstrate in depth experience, be able to work independently and to lead Stress Treadmill.Ambulatory ECG Monitoring and Tape AnalysisAmbulatory Blood Pressure MonitoringResting and Exercise ECG, and to lead stress test without medical supervisionComprehensive profile of Full Lung Plethysmorgraphy testing, Reversibility and Transfer Studies Skills & ExperienceHTEC / BSc in Clinical Cardiology and Respiratory or equivalentTo have a minimum of two years post qualification experience in Cardiology and RespiratoryExtensive knowledge of routine and complex cardiology and respiratory techniquesWe are an organisation that has charitable status and this helps us to drive forward our mission of reinvesting our income to deliver better patient outcomes.
