Our client, an educational site in Alton, Hampshire is currently looking to recruit a Chef to join their talented catering team on a term time, Monday to Friday contract.The main job role of the Chef will be to provide wholesome food for the students using delicious fresh produce. You will also be jointly responsible for the organisation, preparation and cooking of meals to create dishes for those with special diets. This Chef position offers the advantage of Monday to Friday hours, 39 hours per week, term time only. The rota will include a combination of straight shifts during term time with no weekend working.The successful candidate will be qualified to City & Guilds 706/1 & 706/2 or NVQ/QCF Professional Cookery level 1 & 2 and have experience in a commercial catering environment. All candidates will need to be able to work as part of a team and should possess excellent communication skills. It would be advantageous to have experience of special diets, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
