Job Title: Data Engineer

Location: Central London (1 day per week in the office)

Salary: £70,000 – £80,000 per annum

As a Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how they collect, store, and present data, contributing directly to business success.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the broader team to understand data requirements, objectives, and business processes.
• Design, develop, and maintain data models, ETL pipelines, and data warehouses using DBT SQL and Redshift.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security by implementing best practices and quality assurance processes.
• Optimize and fine-tune data infrastructure to improve performance, scalability, and efficiency.
• Work closely with stakeholders to identify data insights, trends, and opportunities for data-driven decision making.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to data engineering and analytics.

Requirements:

• Solid experience as a Data Engineer, with a strong focus on Datamodelling, storage, and presentation.
• Proficiency in DBT SQL and Redshift, with a deep understanding of their capabilities and limitations.
• Strong SQL skills and expertise in designing and optimizing complex queries.
• Familiarity with ETL processes, data pipelines, and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience working with large datasets and handling Real Time data streams is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
