The importance of Identity & Access Management across Cloud, platforms and increased demand for Identity SMEs has triggered seeing the expansion of the Identity and Access Management team, who are responsible for providing a secure service and set of processes for Identity & Access Management across Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform. The expanding remit of this team will provide opportunities to grow individual skills and gain experience across a number of security service areas and technologies.

The successful candidate will join the Cloud Identity Services team as an Identity Engineer, responsible for leading a team of Engineers on implementing and automating the identity and access processes and controls across the bank’s public cloud platforms (primarily focused on Microsoft Azure, although Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform may come into scope of the role). You will drive targeted improvements in both performance and compliance activities, in the process helping to define the strategic direction of the team.
Core purpose of the role;
Lead, manage and coach a team of engineers in the Cloud Identity Services team to deliver identity and access management processes and controls across Cloud Platforms
Proactively identifying and driving automation and improvements across the Cloud estate.
Collaborating with Value Streams and projects to understand and deliver their Identity & Access Management requirements, as well as projects delivering enterprise wide Identity Tools (Identity Governance and Privileged Access Management)
Ensure compliance to SOX, ITEC and other internal standards are maintained whilst building relationships with IT Risk, SOX and Audit partners.
Identify, escalate and proactively manage risks to ensure regulatory compliance is maintained.
So what about you?
Experience working in an Identity & Access Management or IT Security function
Experience in working on Cloud, including appropriate vendor security qualifications
Proven track record of delivering technical solutions and automation of solutions at scale
Proactively seeks out opportunities and implements service improvements whilst building customer satisfaction
Lead, coach and motivate a team of technical staff, encouraging and enhancing capability.
Capability to identify technical risks, articulate the associated IT costs and business impacts, and propose options for resolution
Ability to operate and influence in a complex, large scale and diverse environment
Highly articulate with good verbal and written communication
Demonstrates strong values and behaviours at all times
Ability to influence at all levels, effectively communicate complex topics and build confidence
CISA, CISM, CISMP, CISSP or equivalent is desirable
