The Commercial Accountant is responsible for providing financial support and analysis to the operations and supply chain teams within the organization. This global role requires a deep understanding of financial systems, particularly Netsuite, and the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels. The Commercial Accountant will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate costing, pricing, profitability analysis and inventory management. Conduct price and cost analysis to determine pricing strategies to support commercial operations. Review BOMs, latest vendor costs, item records, and stock holdings. Support pricing discussions with vendors and perform pricing queries. Assist in new product development costings and profitability evaluations. Review item margins, warranty costs, and perform freight analysis. Collaborate with operations team to optimise global inventory levels, review inventory control and take actions to reduce obsolescence. Provide financial support for projects and help improve intercompany pricing model. What we are looking for in our ideal Commercial Accountant: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional accounting qualifications (e.g., CIMA, ACCA) preferred. Proven experience as a Commercial Accountant or in a similar financial analysis role. Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, cost accounting, and financial analysis techniques. ERP user ideally with experience of using NetSuite. Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modeling. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong business acumen and ability to understand and analyze commercial operations. Effective communication and presentation skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and interact with stakeholders at various levels. High attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines. What can we offer you?
