Interim Financial Controller (2 days p/week, 1 year contract) – Luxury Hospitality Brand
Office pattern: a mixture of London and some home working
Reporting into: CFO
We are working with an industry-recognised CFO who is spearheading an international launch of a luxury hospitality concept. This is a unique business which requires considerable pre-operating operations. With several sites due to launch in 2024, this year will focus on financial consultation, international financial planning, asset assessment and day-to-day management accounting.
As the CFO sets up the operation, they are looking for a Financial Controller who can support the business 2 days a week. This role will start as a 12-month contract. This is a unique position that would suit a controller who has time for a further project or an individual looking for a part-time role.
The role will offer a mixture of day-to-day transactional financial work paired with high-level commercial work and planning.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Fully qualified (ACCA, CMA, ACA, CIMA). Strong Excel and cash flow consolidation skills. Experience working for a ‘Big Four’ in your early career A good understanding of both transactional operational finance as well as commercial, financial planning. 2 days a week for a year. Strong VAT understanding and statutory accounting experience. Experience with systems implementation Familiar with international consolidation. Happy to split their time between high-level commercial work and hands-on management accounting.
