Our client, a highly successful business with a fantastic culture, are seeking an experienced Cost Accountant and Business Partner to join their talented team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong manufacturing background who is looking for a new challenge.

Reporting to the FP&A Manager and working closely with the operations team the key accountabilities of this role will include:

– Operations accounting expert and business partner

– Business product and job costing

– Accurate, timely budget and forecast modelling

– Business reporting with analytical commentary

– Analysing, interrogating, and presenting, often complex, financial data

Experience/Qualifications Required:

– Part or fully CIMA/ACCA Qualified

– Experience of working in a manufacturing environment with detailed manufacturing accounting knowledge.

– Costing Experience

– Experience of working in a deadline driven environment

– Budgeting and forecasting

– Scenario Planning

– Working with and analysing large data sets and presenting findings to relevant stakeholders

– Providing financial support to non-financial managers

– Cross Functional working

– Working knowledge of ERP and reporting software’s

– Building reports using financial reporting software
