Maxegan Recruitment is proudly engaged with a growing and exciting client in the search for a forward thinking and dynamic CTO to join their senior leadership team.

There is huge scope within the role, working with and leading the R&D team and technical teams in providing product direction, tech leadership and software and DevOps best practices.

This position is vital in providing vision, motivation, and passion for driving the organisation forward and taking the product to the next level.

Core areas within the role include:

• Strategy – covering technology, engineering and infrastructure vision and roadmaps.
• Service Delivery – leveraging internal and 3rd party teams.
• Development and implementation of fit for purpose compliance frameworks
• Product and service leadership – understand how current services and products are delivered and lead improvements and technical direction.
• Keep on trend and support the business in keeping inline with current and future technologies.

For this opportunity, you will need:

• Experience at CTO level or proven track record as a Head of Development, looking to progress to the next level.
• Excellent, clear communication skills both written and verbal – able to leader, motivate and inspire.
• Proven track record in the Management of R&D/Research and Development Teams
• Ability to demonstrate in non-technical terms software development concepts to a leadership teams.
• Experience in continual development and maintenance of policies, standards, procedures and guidelines.
• Any experience in Education technology, Payment technology or EPOS technologies is highly desirable.
